A short introduction talk with Karina is followed by a yoga practice emphasising the energy lines of the body and putting theory into action. Understanding PRANA and APANA: the two opposing forces within the body that help you rise and ground. The practice is completed with a long yoga nidra guided meditation to leave you grounded and deeply rested.

You will experience the benefits of understanding how you are using your energy in your practice, and how to intelligently direct your practice to balance your agni (digestive power) and awaken your power and radiance. Understanding SAMANA and VYANA: the two opposing forms of energy within the body that help you centre and expand. The short introduction talk will be followed by a slow paced warming practice in line with Elena's talk.

You will express your emotional residue of the week and give your body + mind permission to relax and get ready for your weekend retreat. This practice will introduce the power of UDANA - energy of expression. You will focus on breath work, sound/voice and a special selection of movement practices as a way to purify your energy field and mobilise the body. An opening evening session with Elena to prepare for the weekend programme and completely let go of the week.
